How to Erase My Tracks Online?
Use A Private Browser Window
It is recommended to use a private browser window, as files, cookies, preferences, passwords and user names are permanently deleted once the window is closed.
In the browser menu (three small dots at the end of the address bar), click on File, then New Private Browsing Window (Google Chrome and Safari), New Private Window (Mozilla Firefox) or New InPrivate Window (Microsoft Edge), depending on the browser.
Using A Public Computer or Network
You can use a public computer or a public place providing Wi-Fi.

In the Customize and Control Google Chrome drop-down menu (three small dots to the right of the address bar), choose Clear Browsing Data.
Select the period for which you wish to delete data.
Click on Clear Browsing Data.
Check all available boxes.
Press Clear Navigation Data.
Close browser.

In the History menu, click on Clear History.

In the Settings menu and more (ALT+F or three small dots to the right of the address bar), choose the History option.
Click on the three small dots and click Open History page, followed by Delete Browsing Data.
Select the period for which you wish to delete data.
Check all available or desired boxes.
Press Clear Now.
Close the browser.

Version 3.0 and higher
In the hamburger menu Open Application Menu (three lines on the side of the URL bar) select History then Delete Recent History.
Check all relevant boxes: Browsing and Download History, Active Connections, Forms and Search History, Cookies, Cache.
Click on Clear Now.
Version 1.5
In the Tools menu, select Clear my traces.
Click on Clear my traces now.

Version 8 and higher
In the Tools menu, select Delete Browsing History.
Check History.
Click on Delete.
Version 7
In the Tools menu, select Delete Browsing History.
Click on Delete All.
Version 6
In the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
Under the General tab, click on Clear History.

In the (three small dots) menu on the bottom left, select the Clear Browsing Data Menu.
Select the relevant data.
Click on Clear Browsing Data.
Confirm by pressing Clear Navigation Data again.

In Chrome’s top-right menu (it looks like three horizontal lines), select the Settings menu.
Press Privacy.
Clear Browsing History located at the top.
Confirm History deletion.

Select Safari.
In the Privacy section, press Clear History.
Confirm History deletion.

Select Settings, then Privacy and Security.
Select Clear History.
